General Office Operation and safety during COVID-19

Patient Notice:

By order of the Governor and to protect patients and staff:

This office is closed to non-emergent cases, emergent cases, necessary to address a medical emergency or to preserve the health and safety of a patient will continue, with telehealth for all non-emergent case. No appointment can be made for patients exhibiting symptoms ( i.e. Fever, cough, difficulty breathing…) OR have risk factors ( i.e. direct exposure or foreign travel in the last 14 days)

Due to the current situation we have implemented a new procedure, which we will continue to modify and improve, please be patient with us during this during this change.


If you have a medical emergency, please call 911. Otherwise, 


Phones messages will be checked daily between 7-8 AM. Phone calls will be returned between 8-11 AM (please be available and watch for CDV phone call). If you feel you have an urgent need that does not require immediate attention, follow the phone prompts to talk to answering service and every attempt will be made to contact you in a timely manner.



Non-emergent cases, If appropriate, arrangements can be made for telehealth (on any device that allows for email or face time OR by telephone). Further information will be given about your e-visit at the time you schedule your appointment. A valid email must be given at the time the appointment is scheduled so that we may send you the telehealth instructions.


For those who choose to connect via facetime. It is important we know the email address of phone number of the device which you choose to use. You can go to settings in your device, scroll to facetime., and enable (turn “on” facetime). Please check this is on before your scheduled appointment. The device you will be using must be linked to a valid email/apple ID in order for us to connect with you.


Emergent and urgent cases (as determined by provider) will be seen on Monday mornings in Riverview and Tuesday mornings in Lake Orion by appointment ONLY. CDV will expand these hours as we the need arises.  



At this time, no visitors are allowed to accompany you to your appointment unless necessary for legal reasons or ambulation. We ask that all non-necessary visitors remain in your vehicle during the duration of your visit.


If you have a problem requiring immediate attention prior to that availability, we recommend that you call your primary care or local hospital to determine your appropriate next actions.


We appreciate your understanding throughout this unprecedented time, please understand that patient and staff safety is our greatest priority.
